I am not a convinced that this tactic would be a good selection for Law Enforcement Operations. I do not see it being effective because of team tactics, I see it being effective because the offender is not offering resistance post contact. Two major issues I see is that the tactic requires five officers to be effective and first contact creates the beginning of a full scale officer pile up situation.
