"Copwatch - San Diego, CA"

"I don't endorse Copwatch at all, however I do think these videos serve a good example of what not to do when these Copwatch volunteers show up & start to show their right to observe, film, & question you during your daily duties. Unless they are interfering, delaying, or obstructing you in your duties, try to restrain yourself and not grab the camera because that's what they want us to do. In my opinion, their mission is not to observe and hold law enforcement accountable but instead show up and antagonize us into doing something stupid that they can catch on tape and then post it & broadcast it to the world, claiming the police are corrupt and abusing their power. No matter what color your uniform or patrol cars are, remember your actions & interactions as law enforcement personnel are reflected on us all. Use prior mental planning and ask yourself how you are going to react when one of these antagonist show's up in your jurisdiction and tries their best to get an ina
