I wouldn't have been so funny if after the officer chased him, pulled him down from a light poll and cuffed him leaving him alone at the front of the police car, he ran out into the street and got hit by a car.

I would have cuffed him up immediately after the WORLD'S MOST EMBARRASSING FOOT PURSUIT!!!!! And yes, Sarkis, he probably did get special treatment...maybe a conjugal visit from the bearded lady.

Answer to your ?. As soon as I caught up to him he would have been cuffed as well as being placed in the back seat of my car. I loved the part when tried to escape by climbing up the light pole. Priceless!

It would have been nice to actually be able to understand all that was being said, rather than being droned over by the music....

Talk about safety issues with the intoxicated suspect. I would have immediately handcuffed him and placed in my cruiser. Then I would ask the questions instead of risking an accident if he runs out into traffic.

I think the first time he ran he would be in cuffs... then I wouldn't have to chase him, then chase him up a pole, then chase him agian.... well, at least he found him a job at the end...
