with such a large crowd i would have used other means possibly oc or taser but i was not there so hard to actually say what i would have done. but i see no excessive force comply or suffer the consequences.

Looks good to me. The diversionary strikes stopped when the suspect complied. Why do people think they can not comply with an officer's orders and not suffer any consequences? Perhaps if they had been raised to understand that there are consequences (good or bad) for every action they would be better equipped to be able to follow simple instructions?
