Vehicle Pursuit Angle 1

Hitting perps with vehicle's seems to be the new fad in law enforcement and I don't agree with it unless deadly force is an option, which in this case, the guy presented no immediate threat once on foot and did not appear to be armed from what I can tell. A better view may prove me wrong and I wasn't the Officer responding so I concede that what this idiot did prior could impact my stance... I'm all about getting one over on the bad guy, and it did look cool, but how about doing it right--pursue the guy on foot. It's almost as though Officers are afraid to run.

This reporter rocks! The only reason we show you this again is because the driver was not hurt". What about the suspect who got hit by the car? In California the news reporter would be handing this guy a business card for good lawyer. Not that reporter, a breath of fresh air."
