His awards include the Navy Cross, two Silver Stars, the Bronze Star, the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, the Navy Distinguished Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Combat Action Ribbon and three Purple Hearts. His dedication continues in his work with charitable organizations on support of wounded warriors and their families."
