Taking down a drunk

I agree with eagle87 the best thing to remember is when you go for a take down you don't want a technique that has a small target like the wrist or hand theres easier ways to do that with out shooting for the wrist

these type of techniques are for demonstration only not for real life.

at least for me, that first move wold put my gun side to the perp and that is a NO GO!

that is why i am never a fan of a booking room where you have to turn your back on a prisoner... our jail is the same way and all it takes is some idiot crazy enough to try.....

With drunks I've always found that brute force or a nice leg sweep/trip is the quickest way to get them down. No coordination means if you put them off balance they're gonna go down. This video is ridiculous, I totally agree with Interceptor828
