Jaywalker Tasered for Not Showing ID, Resisting Arrest

Police in Casselberry, Florida, Tasered a man who had reportedly jaywalked and then refused to show ID, which is illegal in Florida. He also seemed to generally be resisting arrest in the parking lot in the video. The man was warned repeatedly, and was Tasered multiple times after continuing to resist. His friend videotaped the incident, and kept demanding the cops get their 'supervisor'.

Are you not required to present some form of ID of a supect when they've committed a crime in your state? He committed an offense, hence the officer needs to know who he is dealing with. This went on way too long. In Alabama, we get the suspect's information to write the citation. If they refuse, then we tell them they are under arrest. If they resist, hands on! If they buck, then tase! No wonder our jobs are getting harder. We are allowing it to get harder.
