Cop 'aggravated' when HIV+ suspect fails to disclose status

A Dearborn, Mich., police officer searches an HIV-positive suspect who does not disclose her status. Though it is not required by law, the officer said he wish he had known so he could have put on gloves prior to the search.

I enjoy the training value of the videos, but whats with the left brake light coming on at the end when she drives off?

@ SMITTYK9 I think its hard to hear but I believe he does contact dispatch before exiting his vehicle.

Why pull someone over, approach the vehicle, interact with the driver prior to ever contacting dispatch? Once he places subject in patrol vehicle and re-enters himself, you hear him call out to dispatch where he is. VERY UNSAFE! Officer, otherwise, is very calm considering the facts, based on the video.

Didn't do any thing wrong? Did you watch the video? He even told him that his brake light out, watch him pull over. No brake lights came on, at all. Then when getting his id, he admitted to possibly having warrants, and there had been drugs in the vehicle. Its hard to tell, (due to the radio being too loud) but I think he even pulls a little weed out and gives it to him. After it was all said and done, he kindly told the female that she needed to let officers know that she has HIV before they search her. What did the officer do wrong? I would like an answer to that. You couldn't possibly be a cop and leave that comment. You are on the wrong site. Go back to youtube.
